Botox is a “botulinum toxin”, which is injected into facial muscles to cause their relaxation. This mitigates or even gets rid of all wrinkles on the face, such as crows’ feet, forehead lines and frown lines.

During your first appointment we’ll assess your case to determine which wrinkles can be treated with Botox, which require treatments with hyaluronic acid and which can be treated with peeling.

Botox treatments are not recommended for patients with allergies to egg proteins or neuromuscular diseases such as myasthenia gravis. Although no adverse effects have been demonstrated in pregnant women, it is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding for safety reasons.

The treatment takes 15 minutes and you can start to see the effects after 24 hours.

Very fine hypodermic needles are used to inject it. A check-up is recommended after 2 weeks to assess whether any touch-ups are necessary.

The effects of botulinum toxin last about 4 – 6 months, after which the treatment can be performed again.

Hyaluronic acid facial fillers

Am I a good candidate for hyaluronic acid treatment?

Hyaluronic acid is a sugar that is naturally produced by the body and is a component of the synovial fluid in joints.

It has two fundamental characteristics: it can take in water and can be reabsorbed.

For both of these reasons it is a completely safe and proven filling material that has a hydrating and reconstituting effect on both the skin and supporting tissues.

Your case will be assessed on an individual basis during your first appointment. Some wrinkles are known as dynamic and are caused by the contraction of facial muscles, such as those on the forehead, frown lines and crow’s feet. These can be treated with botox.

Conversely, there are other fine wrinkles commonly found on the lower eyelid (elastosis) that can be improved with a combination of peeling + blepharoplasty.

Each case is different and requires a fully customised approach.

Mesotherapy consists of the intradermal injection of biological solutions that stimulate the synthesis of collagen, hydrate the dermis and maintain the skin’s natural balance.

The treatment consists of injecting minimal amounts into the dermis (0.1 ml) at intervals of approximately 1 cm, following a pre-established pattern. The punctures are practically pain-free due to the local application of cold and an anaesthetic cream.

How often should I repeat the treatment? This depends on each case, although 3 sessions 15/30 days apart are normally recommended.

Face lift with threads

A thread lift is a type of procedure in which temporary sutures are used to produce a subtle but visible “lift” in the skin.

Instead of surgically removing the patient’s loose facial skin, the surgeon simply suspends it by sewing parts of it. This has the effect of pulling the skin backwards slightly, thereby lifting and tightening the face.

As well as being perfect for lifting the skin, the threads combat ageing in another way: by triggering the body’s “healing response” and forcing it to send large waves of collagen to treated areas.

Silhouette Soft

Innovative sutures that provide women and men with something that no treatment has offered until now, in a quick and minimally invasive manner.

A reinforced tightening effect that offers natural and immediate results.
